Google data we access (Gmail)
With your consent during Google sign-in, the app may access the following read-only data from your Gmail account:
- Message metadata and content limited to queries you perform (e.g., checking if mail was Sent/Inbox within a date window).
- Labels and thread identifiers to detect Inbox/Sent placement and count matches.
Scopes requested: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly.
The app does not request full account access, does not change or delete messages,
and does not send Gmail on your behalf.
How we use your data
Primary purpose
To answer your queries about whether emails exist in Inbox/Sent for specific dates or recipients and to summarize counts for follow-up workflows.
No selling or advertising
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
Temporary processing
Data is processed transiently in memory to compute results. If you export results (e.g., to local files), those files are stored on your device under your control.
Storage & retention
- Access tokens are stored locally on your device to keep you signed in (the
token/folder of the app). - Gmail message content is not persistently stored by our servers (the app operates client-side).
- Your exports (e.g., CSV/XLSX/text files) remain on your device; you control deletion.
Security
We follow the principle of least privilege (requesting only gmail.readonly) and avoid server-side storage
of your Gmail content. Keep your device secure, and do not share exports that may contain email addresses or message snippets.
Your choices & controls
- Revoke access at any time: Visit Google Account → Security → Third-party access and remove API.
- Delete local tokens: In the app, use the reset/clear credentials option (deletes the local
token/folder) and you will be signed out. - Delete exports: Remove any exported files from your device using your file manager.
Legal basis
We process Gmail data strictly on the basis of your consent (you initiate sign-in and grant the Gmail read-only scope). You can withdraw consent anytime by revoking access as described above.
Children’s privacy
The service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age defined by your local law). If you believe a child has provided us access, contact us and we’ll assist with revocation and deletion of related local data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. We will post updates at this URL with a new “Last Updated” date.
